Aromas can make our environment smell inviting, whether that be refreshing on a hot summer day with a citrus scent or cosy and warm with cloves, orange and berries, essential oils have many uses and using the sense of smell we will explore oils around the home.

About the Event

In this class we will discover a brief history of Aromatherapy and how the oils (specifically the scent of oils) interact with the limbic system, the part of your brain that is concerned most with instinct, survival and emotions.

We will talk about contraindications and what to look out for when buying essential oils. We will share some tips and tricks to storing your oils at home and how much oil do you need to use. Also when buying oils there is some things to look out for to help you understand the difference between fragrance and essential oils.

There is some simple steps to help you understand how to blend oils that instinctually resonate with your sense of smell.

We will share some exotic blends and how to use them in your bedroom to ignite that passionate spark and sensuality!

Then its your turn to get hands on and make your own blends. Starting with sleep you will make a dream pillow that you can place in your pillow case to help you sleep and dream away.

Now for you making a room spray that you can spray around your bed and pillows just before bed time to relax.
